I caught this butterfly sitting on a lavender flower. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to adjust the ISO (it’s quite high :S).

This was such a perfect shot. It was a warm and sunny evening in September on the Lake Ontario beach in Port Dalhousie, a neighbourhood i St Catharines. I changed the format to panoramic and adjusted the blacks a little bit to create greater contrast (but not much action was needed), but otherwise I haven’t touched it.
Here’s a picture of my family’s Siberian Husky, Emmy, so named because she was from an ‘e’ litter. We got her in 1999. Notice her one brown and one blue eye. Emmy is a loveable dog that likes company but loves to go running, be that when you go biking or skiing. She’ll settle for a walk, but skiing behind her is fun.
Goat Island lies in the Niagara River, between the two waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls. In the winter, the mist from the falls fall down on Goat Island, creating a thick layer of ice on the ground and the trees. The Horseshoe Falls are in the background.
Toronto seen from the highest observation point of the CN Tower in Toronto, at 446 metres. It was the highest human construction in the world when I visited it (no more – it has been surpassed by the Burj Dubai).
